Saturdays in Soda City – Land Jam 2020

While concert and festival season 2020 didn’t go as planned do to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, things are slowly but surely returning to normal. Consequently, local Country music fans can delight in knowing that Land Jam – Country Music Festival 2020 is happening Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Lugoff, South Carolina. 

What is Land Jam?

If you’re familiar with Drift Jam – Flotilla Music Festival, then you’re in for a treat. Doug Gainey Promotions, the creator of Drift Jam is behind the first ever (expected to be annual) Land Jam. Additionally, Land Jam – Country Music Festival is presented by Lugoff Automotive Group. 

Remarkably, the festival’s schedule is full. Patrons of the festival can expect to hear from Lone Star and 15 regional and local Country music bands. Some of the artists to take the stage include Justin Anderson, Taylor Richardson, The Blue Pickups and Maddie Rean. In addition to live music, there is a Car, Truk, and Bike show presented by Blackmon’s Little Midget Family Drive-In. 

Family-friendly food and events

This is a family-friendly event. A section of the festival is called Kid Country. Kid Country has bounce houses. Excitingly, free children’s tickets are available for purchase at LandJamFest.com. Kids 12 years old and younger can get into Kid Country. 

Other event features include Rodeo country presented by Tidewater Boats and Vendor Country. Consequently, Vendor Country happens just in time to pick up some holiday gifts. If you’re looking to show off your festival skills, Action Country is the place to “challenge your skills at a variety of games and competitions,” announces the event’s Facebook page. Additionally, the football enthusiast of your group doesn’t need to fret about missing the game. Land Jam will have a college football broadcast. 

Don’t worry about going hungry either. Food and refreshments are on site with Kershaw2Go.com. The event’s Facebook page raves that “you’ll be able to sample some of the best food trucks and restaurants around.” Country music, shopping, football, and food sounds like the perfect Saturday.

COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Without a doubt, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic is at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts. Land Jam announces that they’ve been issued a special event permit by the State of South Carolina. Additionally, Land Jam will be following COVID-19 safety protocols. For an added layer of the precaution, Land Jam has enlisted the services of Palmetto Commercial Services. Thanks to Palmetto Commercial Services, the venue will be disinfected regularly throughout the day.
