The mystery of Cafe Strudel; myth, legend and answer to your home cooked meal wishes. I’ve drove by many times, only to marvel at the lines of cars and crowds gathering outside this place of magnificent eats. I decided to try.
One afternoon after leaving the Lexington County Administration Building, my husband and I took the short drive to Cafe Strudel around 10am on a Friday. Little did I know, I was about to embark on a new adventure- a tasty food paradise!

When arriving, you park in the back of the building that is accessed by a side street on Addy Ln. (this was done to prevent traffic from blocking the road way-food is that good). As you walk through the gravel parking area the smells immediately start to tantalizer your senses. You have a clear view of the outside dining area and may be greeted by a four legged friend or two as dogs are welcome to dine with you outside.

After arriving at the front door, all sorts of smells grab your nose and fill your belly with wonderful visions of plated food. We enjoyed the Breakfast quisidilla and the Breakfast Burger. It was delicious. What was even more fantastic was the homemade salsa that accompanied my meal. I loved it! The staff was so friendly and never once did we have to wonder where our server was or wish for a water refill.
The wood work, vaulted ceilings and bar area add to the ambience of your dining experience. They have an amazing drink menu and daily specials.

From their fresh squeezed orange juice to self serve coffee, Cafe Strudel will not disappoint. They also serve lunch and offer late night dining on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please visit their website here for more information: Cafe Strudel Lexington
