3 Meaningful Creative Ways to Celebrate a Wedding Anniversary on a Budget

My husband and I celebrate our wedding anniversary this coming Monday. With that coming up, we also just put an offer in on what will be our first home! Needless to say we are trying to save money.

Although we want to celebrate, we aren’t willing to spend a lot. There are several things we could do and places we could go that won’t place a burden on our wallet. The idea is to save but still celebrate this amazing day.

1. Picnic at Virginia Hylton Park

Please check this little park out! Virginia Hylton Park is tucked away in the middle of our city and has plenty of parking and nice gardens, beautiful landscaping and places to picnic.

2. Dinner at Alodia’s

While you may spend some money, it won’t be a lot. Alodia’s Cucina Italiana is a fantastic Italian restaurant. They have several specials and it is a romantic restaurant with low lighting and friendly staff.

3. Try a local AirBnB

Super cute! Feel like your away but right at home. Barred Owl Studio Apartment is an excellent AirBnB that boast a quiet and private retreat.

If you have other ideas or things that you have done locally to celebrate, let me know in the comments!
